Sorry, just that the picture may give the impression that those words of that madman are to de treasured or admired - and I am sure that was not the intent. I have some more quotes of his that more clearly illustrate the (lack of) character of Hitler: “If you tell a big enough lie and tell it frequently enough, it will be believed” ; “What luck for rulers that men do not think” ; “It is not truth that matters, but victory” ; “Make the lie big, make it simple, keep saying it, and eventually they will believe it"; “By the skillful and sustained use of propaganda, one can make a people see even heaven as hell or an extremely wretched life as paradise” ; “I do not see why man should not be as cruel as nature” ; “Demoralize the enemy from within by surprise, terror, sabotage, assassination. This is the war of the future” ; “The receptivity of the masses is very limited, their intelligence is small, but their power of forgetting is enormous. In consequence of these facts, all effective propaganda must be limited to a very few points and must harp on these in slogans until the last member of the public understands what you want him to understand by your slogan” ; “Humanitarianism is the expression of stupidity and cowardice.”
ReplyDeleteHere is another of his "Diamond words" - “If you tell a big enough lie and tell it frequently enough, it will be believed.”
